This name was officially changed on the brands 20th anniversary from Taisei Optical.

The New Well Co. and Sony Corporation are two of the largest shareholders of Tamron. The production plants of Tamron are set up in Hirosaki, Namioka and Owani in Japan. Along with two that are in China and Viet Nam.

Tamron Lenses and compatibility
