Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Description
Samsung has a line of Android-based tablet computers known as the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The first series, Samsung Galaxy Tab 1 was presented to the public in 2010. The first model in the series called the Galaxy Tab 7.0, is a 7 inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and a single-core 1 GHz Exynos processor. Subsequent updates led to the release of several other models and in 2012, second-generation by the name of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 got released which was targeted at budget markets. The third-generation Samsung Galaxy Tabs got released in 2013 which were again targeted at the budget market. However, the Phablets in the third generation of Samsung Galaxy Tabs, known as the Samsung Galaxy Note series are targeted at the higher-end market.
The fourth generation, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 includes the trio; the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 (with a 7inch display), Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 (8-inch display) and the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 (10.1 inches display). All three variants of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 sport a resolution of 1280x800 pixels, run Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.3MP rear camera, 3MP front-facing shooter, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and a microSD slot. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 are powered by 4450mAh batteries while the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 receives a beefier non-removable Li-Po 6800 mAh battery. All three variants of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 come in White and Black colours.
