Launched in January 2019, the OnePlus 6T McLaren smartphone is a refreshing addition to the OnePlus lineup. The 6T McLaren sports a carbon fibre pattern on a black coloured back that is inspired by the “groundbreaking carbon fibre” that McLaren uses in its cars. The back is designed in a way that allows the light to streak across it and the bottom edge is in ‘Papaya Orange’ that is McLaren’s signature colour. The 6T McLaren is available at premium price points in Pakistan and was launched only in one colour i.e. McLaren Papaya Orange.

Not many McLaren exclusivities in the software
Packing in a few upgrades, the OnePlus 6T McLaren differs from the previous iterations with its huge 10 GB RAM, super-fast Warp charging option, increased battery life and the striking design inspired by the British sports car manufacturer McLaren.
The screen on the OnePlus 6T McLaren is a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 402 pixels per inch. There is a water droplet notch at the top that houses an in-display fingerprint scanner which lets you unlock the OnePlus 6T McLaren by putting your finger on it through the screen.
Powered by Android 9 Oreo operating system, the OnePlus 6T McLaren uses a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 chipset, hence being capable of handling any heavy tasks thrown at it.
On the back, you will find a 16MP + 20MP dual-camera setup, while on the front there's a 16MP selfie shooter. The cameras aren't much different in performance from the 6T and come with the same features.
Storage & RAM
Following the footsteps of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, the 6T McLaren Edition comes with 10GB of RAM and will be the first globally available smartphone sporting that huge a RAM since the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 isn't widely available. The basic 6T McLaren Edition comes with 128GB of internal storage and users who require a bigger storage capacity can opt for the top size 256GB variant.
With a 3,700mAh battery, the phone comes with a huge difference in the charging speeds, as it uses a technology called ‘Warp Charge 30’, which charges up your mobile with a whole day's power in under 30 minutes. Another interesting feature of OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is the eye-catching charger as it has a Papaya Orange braided cord cable, to match the orange on the phone.
Sensors & Connectivity
6T McLaren includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass sensors. It comes with a host of connectivity options such as 3G, 4G, GPS, Wifi, NFC and Bluetooth capabilities.
