A syrup made up of lactulose and other sugars. Lilac Syrup is used for the treatment of constipation or for hepatic encephalopathy. This is not a curative medicine it merely helps with the symptoms. A colonic acidifier, this works by decreasing the ammonia in one's blood. Lactulose is a man-made sugar solution.
