Hublot Watches Description
A Swiss luxury watch brand Hublot is amongst some of the most expensive watchmakers in the world but the first to make a luxury watch with a 'natural rubber' strap. Started in 1980 by Carlo Crocco and named using the French word for 'porthole' which also explains much about the look of the bezel. In April 2008 luxury goods group LVMH had acquired Hublot from founder Carlo Crocco for an undisclosed amount.
What sets Hublot watches apart is the design and the strap that moulds itself to any wrist, being so comfortable it became the go-to watch for anyone who played a sport or worked with his or her hands. With their combinations of polished and brushed gold to achieve a beautiful variation in relief.
Hublot manufacturers a couple of special collections each year and also hold the distinction of manufacturing the most expensive watch in the world, ‘The Five Million Dollar Watch’. Working with celebrities and having them design specific time-pieces like one they did with Sean Carter, more famously known as Jay Z, which isn't just something that has his name along but was entirely designed by him.
Special collections over the years have also included Formula 1 editions for which Hublot is also a sponsor, among other sports! Making sure they keep innovating their design while retaining their personal touch! Hublot watches are the category of watches that fall into a section of design and construction at par with art, even being nearly as much of an asset at such prices.
