Design & Display
The Full HD+ display measures 6.15 inches, which does a great job at balancing immersion and manageability like a pro. The 19.5:9 aspect ratio and barely-there bezels make for a long screen. Huawei P30 Lite's LCD display may lag behind AMOLEDs when it comes to depth, punch and pop but it delivers a better clarity. With a resolution of 1080 x 2312, its screen retains the Full HD+ resolution found in the flagship P30 Pro. The phone houses a dual-SIM tray slot on the top and can take two nano-SIM cards, or one SIM card and a microSD card. It is available in three colours: Peacock Blue, Midnight Black and Pearl White.
Performance & Platform
P30 Lite is powered by a middle-class Kirin 710 processor that has a quad-core 2.2GHz primary cluster and a secondary quad-core cluster running at 1.7GHz. The processor is accompanied by a 1GHz Mali-G51 graphics engine that enables GPU Turbo 2.0, dedicated to improving gaming performance.
The phone packs plenty of cameras and pixels. Its rear houses a triple-lens array that features a wide, ultra-wide and depth sensor combo. The triple camera rear setup includes one wide 48MP (f/1.8) camera, one ultra-wide 8MP (f/2.4) camera and one 2MP (f/2.4) depth-sensing camera. Despite the high resolution, the primary camera lacks optical image stabilization and 4K video support. The camera gives an awesome Dynamic range when shooting in the dedicated HDR mode, but lacks the auto-HDR feature for automatic mode. The selfie camera at the front is a 32 MP snapper and uses Huawei's AI-driven Selfie technology for sharper and clearer pictures.
Storage, Battery & RAM
The Huawei P30 Lite comes with an in-built 128GB storage capacity and 4GB/8GB of RAM. The phone houses a dual-SIM tray slot on the top and can take two nano-SIM cards, or one SIM card and a microSD card. The battery on the phone is a respectable 3340mAh unit that gives ample power to last a day. Though the Huawei P30 Lite doesn't support wireless charging, it can be charged with an 18W fast charging charger.
