HP is one of the best brand options to choose a printer from. They have so many models one can choose from, from high-end complex printers with many features to simpler models with basic features. This gives users the ability to choose something that fits their needs well. If a simpler printer is what you need, the HP LaserJet P1005 is a good choice.

The HP LaserJet P1005

Competing in the monochrome laser printer segment the HP LaserJet P1005 is a smaller sized printer that works better for text printing. Photographic printing is a little grainy but does not have banding.

The tray fits 150 papers and the print speed is at 14ppm, which is a tad slower than one would expect from a printer belonging to HP. Even at a higher 1200dpi, it is able to manage 12ppm. The monthly duty cycle is at 5000 prints, which is a decent amount for it size.

For connectivity, HP has made us of a USB connection for this model.
