Built on the same specifications as its direct predecessor, the GoPro HERO 6 is a small but powerful camera that can shoot up to 240 frames per second in 1080p and up to 60 frames per second in 4K. The camera's resolution stands at 12 MP megapixels and you can take continuous still images at the burst rate of 30 fps. GoPro HERO6 also comes with a time-lapse mode, raw file option and Wide Dynamic Range mode for better and brighter imagery. If your hands are occupied you can use the voice control option and operate the camera by saying out what you want it to do and it will instantly follow your commands. For durability, the GoPro HERO6 is designed to be waterproof up to 10 m.
Users can quickly navigate menus on the rear 2 inch LCD touchscreen. The HERO6 has a record button on top that instantly powers up the camera and immediately starts recording the scene. The Mode button on the side of the GoPro GERO6 allows for using multiple modes interchangeably while shooting. The GoPro HERO 6 features an enhanced battery performance, providing 80 to 100 mins of recording, depending on the brightness level and recording mode. The display on the GoPro HERO6 is crystal clear and bright even in daylight. At just 50% brightness level everything is visible on the screen even on a bright sunny day. The camera features a 2.7k internal image stabilization, that in conjunction with the linear lens mode gives a gimbal-like stabilization even without an actual gimbal.
The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity allows for quick and easy sharing of images/videos and automatic upload to the cloud. The built-in GPS offers geo-tagging and automatically saves location information in the metadata of your photos so that you can keep a track of where your pictures were taken. GoPro HERO6 comes with improved audio capture capabilities as the advanced wind-noise reduction technology paired with 3 microphones provides clearer and noise-free sound capture. Integrated with an optimized GP1 processor, the GoPro HERO6 delivers higher frame rates in 4K, 2.7K, and 1080p HD resolutions and the GP1 chip also ensures improved dynamic range and low-light performance.
