Embroidered Lawn Collection
Before there were dedicated retail stores for lawn collections the Firdous name was already rising top the top with their exclusive exhibitions at the most prestigious hotel locations throughout the country. Now having been releasing regular lawn collections for over a decade, they have branched into single shirts, 2-piece and 3-pieces suits.
The iconic design that has the panel on the front of the shirt and the back piece is fully covered in a print of floral design is a classic Firdous kameez. Inspired by the flora and fauna of the world, the designs have hints of an island landscape, Japanese bonsai trees, castle iron gates and flowers that together create detailed tapestries of colour. These floral designs have structured elements of line and heavy contrast that is paired with bold primary colours. The ethnic flavour of the lawn is evident as the designs have base colours that are solid in colour from yellows, royal blues, oranges and reds. These colours are purposely kept high opacity to make the embroidery pop more and showcase the detailing of the printed design.
The embroidered patches have finesse and detail that make the overall suit look well-composed and help bring together the entire design. These finishing can also be seen in the way the sleeves have printed borders and daman has pre-made printed borders to tie together the 3-piece suit. The variety of colours in these individual suits are bold and stand out when compared to other neutral or shaded collections.
