Targeted at amateur photographers, the Canon EOS 800D was launched in 2017. One of the best entry-level DSLRs by Canon, the Canon EOS 800D is the successor to the 750D and comes with multiple upgrades and enhancements such as a better maximum video frame rate, More AF Points, Longer battery life, Faster continuous shooting (burst mode), Bigger RAW Buffer, Higher extended ISO and Lighter weight. The Canon EOS 800D comes with a Dual pixel CMOS image sensor with a 22.3 × 14.9 mm (APS-C format) sensor size. The resolution on the Canon EOS 800D is 6000 × 4000 pixels and the ISO range falls between 100–25600. With a 24.2-megapixel sensor, the Canon EOS 800D covers a focus area of 45 cross-type AF points and supports One-Shot, AI Focus, AI Servo, Live View (FlexiZone - Multi, FlexiZone - Single, Face detection, Movie Servo) focus modes.
With a shutter speed of 1/4000 s – 30 s, the Canon EOS 800D supports continuous shooting of up to 6 fps (4.5 fps in Live View mode). The display on the Canon EOS 800D is a 3 inch Clear View II colour TFT vari-angle LCD touchscreen with 1,040,000 dots. Canon EOS 800D has an Optical pentamirror Viewfinder with 95% coverage and 0.82× magnification. With the dimensions of 131.0 x 99.9 x 76.2mm and weighing approx. 532g, the Canon EOS 800D is pretty lightweight and compact. It uses a DIGIC 7 image processor and is backed by a Li-Ion LP-E17 rechargeable 1800 mAh battery that would give you 600 shots before draining out. Though 4K video capture is missing from the Canon EOS 800D, you can shoot up 1920 x 1080 videos with 50 frames per second.
