Apple Inc, the American multinational tech magnate launched The iPhone XS on September 12, 2018, as the twelfth-generation flagship of the iPhone. The phone instantly became a hot seller amongst iPhone users in Pakistan and is available at various prices offered by different online as well as in-store sellers.

Apple iPhone XS is optimized for one-handed use and is shorter and narrower than the iPhone XS Max, also weighing a lighter 6.24 ounces. The phone is available in Gold, Silver and Space Grey colours.

Display & Design

The iPhone XS supports a 5.8-inch touchscreen and has rounded corners that are within a standard rectangle and a beautiful curved design. The custom-built OLED panels feature a searingly bright HDR display with the best colour accuracy in the industry. With advanced colour management, your content is automatically displayed in wide colour making everything look astounding. iPhone XS supports EarPods with Lightning Connector. 

Performance, Platform & RAM

With a 4GB RAM, the phone features the powerful A12 Bionic chip with a 7-nanometer process. It is powered by a Hexa-core Apple A12 Bionic processor and is based on iOS 12. The A12 processor delivers 15% faster performance and consumes 40% less power than the A11. XS also offers a 50 % speed boost the A12's new GPU. Apple has increased the durability in iPhone XS making it IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. It can resist being submerged in 2 meters of water for up to 30 minutes because the phone is sealed and precision-fitted with a surgical-grade stainless steel band.

Cameras

The rear houses a dual-camera module including a 12MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture. It supports a second telephoto 12MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture and 2x optical zoom; digital zoom up to 10x. iPhone XS is fully capable of shooting 4K videos at 24 fps, 30 fps, or 60 fps with better low-light performance. The camera produces amazing low light photos because its sensor features deeper, larger pixels that improve image fidelity and allow more light to hit the sensor. 

The front also has a dual-camera setup including one SL 3D camera and a 7MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies. With the adjustable depth of field, you can make your portraits even more beautiful by adjusting the depth of field to blur the background as much or as little as you want. The enhanced and sophisticated Bokeh effect makes your photos even more eye-catching, ensuring that your backgrounds look more beautiful than ever. 

Storage & Battery

This phone packs in a non-extendable internal storage capacity of 64 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. It received a new single-cell L-shaped 2,658 mAh battery that lasts up to 30 minutes longer than iPhone X. Talk time is up to 20 hours and internet use up to 12. The phone is capable of fast charging, reaching up to 50% charge in 30 minutes with 18W adapter or higher. Wireless charging is also available with Qi chargers. It is a dual-SIM smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and eSIM cards.  

Connectivity & Sensors

The sensors included are Face unlock, 3D face recognition, Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Barometer. However, the Fingerprint sensor is not included in this phone. XS supports Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Lightning, 3G, and 4G (LTE) on both SIM cards.
